It might be possible, but I doubt it for most people. You really need a native speaker to talk to. At the very least you need to be able to listen to a native speaker speak the language. Otherwise you will wind up saying words all wrong.
In the case of French, which has pronunciation that is very different from English, you really need to talk to someone so you can make sure you are saying things the right way.
I suggest the Pimsleur CDs for listening to. They’re expensive, but you can probably get them from your local library. If your library doesn’t have them, you can probably inter-library loan them.
You also might want to see if your local community college is offering Continuing Education classes in the language you are wanting to learn. The classes are usually cheap, usually between $40 and $100 for an eight to ten week class, depending on the location.

-”SharedTalk”, “xLingo” or “Polyglot”; language exchange networks, where you can chat online and improve your language skills with other members and practice your speaking skills as well. (http://www.sharedtalk.com/,,)
- “LanguageGuide.org” that offers free sound integrated resources for learning languages. (http://www.languageguide.org/)
-TambiƩn busca un buen diccionario, un traductor online y practica todo lo que puedas.
Buena suerte!
